Your Journey in Detail

You should never have to guess what comes next. Here's the full path — from first contact to lasting change.

1

Schedule Your Consultation

Contact us by phone at (720) 432-3612, or fill out the contact form on our website. You don't need a referral — just reach out and we handle the rest.

What to expect: We respond within one business day to confirm your appointment. We'll ask a few brief questions to understand your primary concerns and connect you with the right provider.
2

Get Matched With the Right Provider

Each of our three registered dietitians has distinct areas of expertise. We'll match you based on your specific concerns — whether that's eating disorder recovery, intuitive eating, sports nutrition, or gut health.

Who you might work with: Janelle for eating disorders and general nutrition; Emily for intuitive eating and certified eating disorder specialization; Shane for sports nutrition and athlete care. You can also request a specific provider.
3

Verify Your Insurance (Before Your First Visit)

We are contracted with many Aetna, Cigna, Select Health, UMR, and United Healthcare plans. We recommend calling your insurer before your appointment to confirm your specific coverage.

Ask your insurer: Is Sollus Nutrition Therapy (EIN 46-2339972) in-network? Do I have nutrition coverage (codes 97802 & 97803)? What is my co-pay or deductible, and how many visits per year? If a diagnosis is required, have it faxed to us at 1-866-719-0945.
4

Your Initial Nutrition Assessment ($185)

Your first session (approximately 75 minutes) is where everything begins. We take a complete health history and develop a genuine understanding of your unique relationship with food, your body, and your goals.

What we cover: Full health history · Food and body relationship · Personal goals and challenges · Nutrition education relevant to your situation · Collaborative care plan · Questions you have about the process
5

Ongoing Follow-Up Support ($140/session)

Follow-up appointments celebrate your progress, address obstacles, and evolve your plan as your needs change. We provide meal planning support, nutrition education, and adjust our approach — toward intuitive eating or structured support — depending on what's right for you.

How often: This depends on your goals, readiness to change, and support system. We'll discuss this openly after your initial assessment and adjust as you progress. There is no minimum commitment.

Achieve Sustainable Results

Lasting change takes time — and our goal is to help you build habits and perspectives that stay with you long after our sessions end. We work collaboratively to challenge you, support you, and help you find peace with food.

Our commitment: We see each individual and body as unique. Nutrition therapy is always customized, always honest, and always focused on what's realistic and sustainable for your actual life.

Provider Matching

We match you with the right dietitian based on your needs. Each provider has distinct specialties — you're never assigned at random.

What to Expect After Booking

Here's exactly what happens between booking and your first appointment — so you can feel fully prepared before you walk in the door.

We Call or Email Within 1 Business Day

After you contact us, we'll follow up quickly to confirm your appointment, answer initial questions, and let you know who your provider will be.

Verify Your Insurance (We'll Help)

We'll guide you through how to check your coverage with your insurer. If you are in-network, we handle billing for you. If out-of-network, we provide a Superbill for reimbursement.

You Don't Need to Prepare Much

Come as you are. No food diary required, no "perfect" eating beforehand. If your insurer requires a diagnosis, have it faxed to us (Fax: 1-866-719-0945) — but we can also discuss this at your first session.

Virtual or In-Person — Your Choice

In-person sessions take place at our Denver office in the Capitol Hill Healing Center Building (750 E. 9th Ave, Suite 110). Virtual sessions work via secure telehealth — we'll send the link ahead of time.
